Again

I am talking about the SS part at the USEM off Roxas Blvd, my relative is about to fly from Davao to Manila and go to the Embassy regarding some SS questions or issues.

Again.

Maybe we should wait till we get a report back from the "boots on the ground" relative and what may be their experience. That would be a truer picture then pontificating your opine.

Waste of his time to go to Manila when they could shut down at any time.  He hates Manila with a passion, me I can deal with it for a few days.

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

Well you did take care of one of the three pillars of the visa process. It's like the Father, Son and Holy Ghost but we have USCIS, DHS and DOS. :D And, who are the "workee's"

Bro. USCIS AND DOS are both under DHS* (department of home land security) and when i wrote workee my intention was to write workers. Get my fact straight dont focus on my typing error

Bro.  DOS (Department of State) is a cabinet level department supervised by the Secretary of State and is NOT a part of DHS another cabinet level department supervised by the Secretary of Homeland Security

YMMV

Uhh...what?

USCIS is under DHS.

The embassies and consulates are under DOS.

These are separate departments with separate policies, separate budgets, separate leadership, separate goals, etc.

USCIS has an allocated bucket for processing petitions and applications. These fee-based services are self-sustaining without any appropriations from the federal government. They should not be impacted.

DOS is a very different beast. The embassies and consulates are not all self-sustaining. They collect fees and draw upon that fund, but it's not the same everywhere.

For instance, the K-1 visa has a flat MRV fee of $265. This is the same whether you interview in Montreal or Lagos. The costs associated with processing an average visa application are likely miles apart. there's no way they're paying the same wages for all the staff, the level and occurrence of manual background checks and document verification required are different, etc.

Lighten up Bro. Your skin is pretty thin if you can't take a little jabbing. Your information is wrong and therefore others have schooled you so I will let that be that. Oy Vey.

So why did you reply then if you aware others schooled me?  Not in for poetry. They schooled me better than you did. I am clear and understood them better than i did with your answer. Too much knowledge. sigh
