Priority date Jan. 29, 2018 and CC date Nov. 20, 2018...still no interview date. Not sure what's going..I have called NVC today and they said they go by the CC Date order and not priority dates. I have seen at least 2 members whose CC date was same as mine or after me and they got their interview date. Hopefully we all hear some good news soon!

I'm sorry that it happened to you.   Do you have idea why they put your husband on AP?  Did he have a specific  education or job?

His education is based off of engineering, he is also works with one of the largest airplane makers in the USA (aerospace engeer), which my dad used to work for up till the day he died.

With all his past B1/B2, B1, and J1 visas they all went into AP for less than a month (also happens to his other coworkers) and it was issued a bit afterwards, this AP was expected by me, he thought it was weird they requested his cv/resume. He also has 2 citizenships Ukrainian and Russian, but we preffer Russian, since he also works in Russia, and both passports had this month AP done to them after the visa interviews.

I-130 CR1 Timeline  Visa has been issued!!!!!! = ^.^= YAY!

I guess it's common practice for embassies to request CV and a list of publications of a visa applicant if he or she studied/worked/works in the field of engineering, technology, or science for AP. I hope it won't take them too long to complete the AP this time! This wait is really hard, especially after the interview. Wish you and your husband good luck ☺️

Gov Shut down has already taken place since end of December. NVC is NOT be effected by the shutdown. However, Newly field petitions i130 might see some slowness. If your Petition is already at least NOA1 then your fine. These Agencies have their own funds to run and even after Gov shut down they can work normally as long as they have sufficient funds. Yes there some effected Federal areas like Social Security (Bye Bye filing taxes and refunds early this year). Some of the overseas consulates are also shut down. The, “Exta” federal stuff like Overseas Consulate Programs, Libraries that are considered non essential in my words, “Useless” are also closed.

Which embassies are closed to your knowledge? I may be wrong but I have not heard or read about consulates shutting down so far. I'm processing through juarez consulate in mexico and as of today it is still fully operational.
