I don’t think it is just the right wing pundits touting O’Rourke as a 2020 Democrat front runner.  A quick search of news headlines show a lot of leftist media outlets reporting it such as the NYtimes, etc.  here is a story from Salon, a bastion of leftist views.

You are probably correct. What I was attempting to articulate is that there appears to be a shift in what RW propgandists focus on or dig up stories on based on their percieved threat at that moment.

 

RW propagandists were actually promoting Bernie and Jill Stein all the way to the end if the last election. Had Bernie had the lead the effort would have been pro Hillary.

 

The effort is coordinated.

The effort is ham-handedly transparent.

Here in GA and maybe other places, they have something called highest and best use. If your family has owned a few acres on the beach for 100 years, they can condemn it because a highrise condo would be a better use and generate more tax and economic benefit . I may be over simplifying it ?
