Have NVC Case # but no link to select agent

Our case has been in NVC since Dec 4th.  On Dec 12th a case number and invoice number was assigned to us.  I went to https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx and signed in.  We had only this initial screen: "

Summary Information

K visas are nonimmigrant visas that assist spouses or future spouses of American citizens in entering the United States. As with all nonimmigrant visa applicants, a DS-160 must be filled out in order for a consular section to process the case."

We followed the link to complete DS-160 for Spouse K1 and Children.  We did this yesterday.  When we log in now the screen still displays the same summary information and we do not have any links to choose and agent or pay fees.  Is this normal?

Do you have an agent?

if so,  your agent (lawyer) should have gotten this message

  1. Log-in to our online applicant system and create a profile. ...
  2. Click on Schedule My Appointment option on the left-hand side of your screen. ...
  3. Once you are on the Payment screen, click on Payment Options. ...
  4. Pay the visa fee. ...
  5. Save the bank receipt for your records.

You don't login to NVC.  Just track your case until it reaches the embassy and follow the embassy instructions

What are you trying to do?

If you go to this link:  https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx you can enter your case number and see that your application is chilling at the NVC until whenever they finally do the next shipment.

Correct this is K1,  and we are trying to go through the next steps listed on NVC website.  Per the flowchart we will need to designate the agent, pay the fees, submit AOS and other documents.  Where do we go to log into the system to do this?   I included the link where the NVC website said to login but we just get this summary screen about needing to submit DS-160, after having already completed and submitted DS-160

Ok thanks, so we just wait until everything is sent to the consulate and they send us a Packet 3?

Yes.  But Kyiv may have it online on the website already

They won't send you any packages.

Once the US Embassy in Kyiv receives the case, you will be notified, by mail or e-mail.

After that just follow the steps  from the Embassy website - it is really a good guide.

Good luck!
