Whether Trump won the election or not, I don't think he thought he could achieve that or doesn't care.He must be laughing at how far this Maria Butina got with little or not intelligence investment on his part.

 

  What he does care about is that there is discord in the West with folks more afraid of their own government and institutions like the Press, Elections, NATO, EU.  If he can get a good Brexit vote or Trump ( who seems to be in love with Putin) out of his efforts, so much the better. When you say you are more fearful of our own DOJ than Putin, then he has already scored a win.

 

 

 

Is that why he avoids Putin at international conferences and goes along with all of the sanctions put on Russia? With friends like that who needs enemies. By the way I'm not fearful of the DOJ. Just annoyed by their incompetence and corruption.

Putin wanted to create chaos and vacuum of leadership in the US, he got what he wanted.

The Russian president’s assault on the election clearly involved several “modalities,” including hacked emails and social media manipulation, McFaul told Chuck Todd on MSNBC. It also involved multiple players, such as Russian agent Maria Butina. She has pleaded guilty to conspiring with a Kremlin official to forge links to the National Rifle Association to create a “back channel” to influence the election, McFaul said.

“It was a comprehensive strategy on multiple fronts, trying to influence the outcome of the election,” McFaul said of Putin’s operation in America. 

When Trump won, Putin didn’t get any “short-term payout,” such as the lifting of sanctions against Russia, McFaul noted. “But the chaos that President Trump has caused to the Western Democratic world, not only within our own country but within the alliance, within the EU, that is exactly what Vladimir Putin wants. The withdrawal of the American leadership creates a vacuum for Vladimir Putin. The long-term payout has been extraordinary for him.”

Like I said hold onto your MAGA hat because this is the most corrupt President ever. So many different investigations open on him...Russia conspiracy, campaign contributions violations involving porn stars, Inaugural committee, emoluments clause violations involving dealings with the Saudis/Crown Prince on why he doesn't believe his own CIA over the journalist execution. He'll regret becoming President.

Mango is crooked as anything that has been in the oval office. I originally compared him to Nixon but he is much worse than Nixon. He's a dictator wannabe, Nixon never had authoritarian tendicies and never went around openly praising other ruthless dictators around the world. Blah blah blah. You still haven't cited a specific crime or impeachable offense you believe Trump committed or any evidence to back it up. In fact I have yet to see anyone do that. All i see is "Trump is going to jail" or "Trump's impeachment is imminent". It's been the same recycled garbage for the last 2 years. At first it was a little entertaining. Now it is just old and boring.
