I stay current on politics, these folks are not threat.  If you have evidence to the contrary please bring it.  I don't spend time on Brietbart or Daily caller so I might miss that slant.

So an FBI Director that takes over the position of the AG or Deputy AG is just fine with you?  A couple of folks plotting on how they will take care of the country if Trump gets elected is fine.  An FBI spying on American citizens for political reasons is just fine?  Btw, how much money did Russia spend on influencing the election?  How many votes did they change, and how did they just get the good people of Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania to turn on Hillary.

Hillary was a weak candidate, failed to spend the time in the Midwest, and focused on Analytics over connecting with people. In short the Democrats choked in the clutch.  This is about influence 

 

Whether Trump won the election or not, I don't think he thought he could achieve that or doesn't care.He must be laughing at how far this Maria Butina got with little or not intelligence investment on his part.

 

  What he does care about is that there is discord in the West with folks more afraid of their own government and institutions like the Press, Elections, NATO, EU.  If he can get a good Brexit vote or Trump ( who seems to be in love with Putin) out of his efforts, so much the better. When you say you are more fearful of our own DOJ than Putin, then he has already scored a win.

Who is the “he” in your 3rd paragraph?  I am assuming you mean Putin, but that is not clear.  If so, it is interesting that he is the puppet master behind the entire world.  I have read that supposedly he was behind the Brexit vote, still haven’t seen any evidence of it, but I guess the Left needs their bogey man.  You know there was a time when the Democrats embraced the Soviet Union, I believe there was a well known senator of Irish ancestry that actually wrote a letter to the Soviet leadership to help him against Reagan.  As to people opening their eyes and beginning to distrust their elite leaders, I think the elite leaders are doing way more than Putin, or any other country for that matter to warrant that distrust.  As to the media, if they weren’t so biased, then maybe they would garner more trust, but when you have activist like Jim Acosta pontificating and not reporting, the distrust is again warranted (btw, the media is not above being questioned as to their political motives).

by staying current you mean you read someone's opinion and choose to agree or disagree or do you actually seek corroborating reliable sources and then analyze the information or ????? I'd hate to trust the national threat level to someone half-stepping through a quick perusal of biased information to determine who poses a legitimate threat or not .... is it a hobby or a passion ...

It's the Right get out of jail card. BUT BUT BUT HILLARY!! Making excuses for this god awful President. Mango will go down in history as one of the most shameful Presidents of all time. People from all over the world will be laughing at him and America for eternity. Meanwhile his supporters will be crying about Hillary still.
