apologies guys and thanks in advance for reading this and helping me out to understand my query.

i am fairly new to this.

i live in California and I sent an I129F application on November 30th and it was delivered to Texas Service Center on December 6th.

The check has not been cashed  yet and there has been no notification from USCIS as well.  Do I need to be worried? How much time does it take after the packet was delivered to them. I tried to check the processing times page as well, but my apologies, I didn't quite understand that.

Pedantic note - the Dallas USCIS lockbox is not the Texas Service Center. The Texas Service Center hasn't had anything to do with K-1s since before 2017.

Yes; that's the Dallas USCIS lockbox, which is the correct place for K-1s. It's just frequently called the Texas Service Center by K-1 petitioners and beneficiaries, but is not.

You should update your timeline in your profile so people can see your journey steps.  If you click on mine, you can see it.  Its very helpful/useful to see how long others are taking too

Maybe you sent them the wrong fee? Forgot to sign the check? That would explain why no check was cashed and why you haven't received a NOA1. If you made that kind of error, you'll probably get your packet back in a week or two.

that may be the least of your worries. the waiting part after that is the most stressful part. you will be at the mercy of how fast they process your application. patience is the key also maitain a healthy mindset.

Maybe u r right...

i think now that I might have forgotten to sign the check. Is there a way to know. Will they return the packet to me for sure? If yes, how long.
