Going to the embassy with ur fiance will not guarantee the visa approval...  All he has to do is be fully prepared psychologically and be ready to answer questions from the C.O with honest

Hello , we’re you able to join the interview, my fiancé is from Iraq as well and I’d like to join him for the interview

I’ll be there for my fiancé’s interview just to give him my passport so he can show it to CO and let them know I’m here. I personally think that would make a good impression that our relationship is real. Great luck!
