Sorry, but I don't understand your reasoning for moving this thread.  It would have never occurred to me to put it where you did.  Please enlighten me.

It is because your question is location-specific and not K-1 specific. A K-1 applicant from Canada or Mexico is going to have to do something different than your fiancee.

Removing Conditions Timeline

Aug. 10, '17: Mailed in I-751

Aug. 21, '17: NOA1

October 23, '18: NOA2- approval

October 30, 18: 10-year GC received

How could I have known that without asking the question?  I would never have looked where you put it for an answer.  Just because there are many potential answers doesn't mean it isn't a K1 question.

No one is saying its not a K question. The mods just move things to keep the forum organized. Its a good thing! No one is in trouble!

Generally post where you think is appropriate and a mod will move it if they feel they need to. Dont stress about it. :)

Read the PI subforum for PI specific issues and look for a user named Hank (I think) He has guides in his signature (under each post) The PI is a unique place when it comes to immigration, they have specific things unique to them- so you will find the best advice in the PI subforums.

I'm new here so I don't know what an "organizer" is or what they know or don't know.  Obviously, some members are authorized to move material as they see fit and it's up to me to understand the logic involved so that I know where to find answers before posting redundant questions.  In this case, I don't understand the logic of categorizing my question by the answer rather than the question.  Doing so requires knowing the answer before knowing where to look for it.
