If you stay & it gets denied (likely) then your overstay will count from the day you were originally supposed to leave. Your visa will be cancelled and it will be very hard to get another one in the future. You're better off leaving by the date on the stamp in your passport unless you get an approval before then.

OP already has one COS request in the system from 6 months back and now wants to extend the status....without knowing the outcome of the first CoS request.
