Hello VJ' s

My reentry visa expires mid May 2019. I will fly to US with myself and 3 kids in Feb 2019, to post reentry visa applications at US post office. i intend to return to Australia to finalise my permanent move to US, before reentry visa expires.

I need to submit my current reentry visas along with the applications.  My query is, when I return to the US how do I show that I have a current reentry visa?

Can I show certified photocopies or can I show my green card (expires 2023)?

I can't use a visa waver application as I will have a one way ticket to the US. Hoping that someone has had this issue before. Cheers.

An amendment to my query above. Just read that one is issued a "Notice of Receipt" by post 2-3 weeks post receipt of application for filing. This paper notice can be used as proof to US Customs at point of entry to US, to show that the application has begun. So, one can travel abroad from the US while waiting for issue of the Reentry Permit.

I am sooo relieved.

Cheers all
