Hello

I receive my NOA2 for K1 visa about 3 weeks ago but havent receive anything from NVC yet. Does i have to mail documents to NVC?

What country is this for? You do not have to mail documents to the NVC if you already have your NOA2.

You can call them to get your case number and you will be able to to check your case status. Once I got my case number, they told me to call every 3 days to check on the status.

You do not need to mail documents to NVC for a K1.

It can take up to 6 weeks for your case to reach the NVC, plus you will need to keep in mind all of the holidays.

For example, I received my NOA2 the second week of November last year and my case did not reach the NVC until after Christmas.

Is for Venezuela

Ask the USC to call the NVC and ask for your case number, once you have it you can check the status. The moment it says "ready" you can schedule your appointment at the embassy in Caracas. I'm also from Venezuela and received my noa2 on Nov 29. Some others from Venezuela are also waiting for the NVC. If you're interested, we exchange info about the process via private messages. Feel free to  send me a message if you'd like to be part of it.
