I sent our AOS packet yesterday so I'm expecting confirmation in December.  I didn't see a December thread created yet. Looking forward to connecting with other December filers! Interesting coincidence I mailed our I129F on November 30th 2017 and mailed AOS on November 30th 2018. Let's see if my NOA for AOS is Dec 4th!

I guess we will be a December AOS filer.  We sent ours out on November 23rd, but still have not received  a NOA 1 yet :(

11/10/2017:  Met in person 1st time (traveled to Philippines: 11/8/2017 - 11/20/2017)

01/29/2018:  I-129F petition sent to the USCIS Dallas lockbox via USPS

01/31/2018:  I-129F petition delivered and signed by USCIS

02/06/2018:  Check was cashed ($535); Received acceptance confirmation email and text from USCIS; Case being transferred to CSC

02/08/2018:  NOA1 hard copy received via USPS (NOA1 received date: 01/31/2018; NOA1 notice date: 02/05/2018)

08/09/2018:  I-129F petition approved (total wait time: 190 days from received date and 185 days from notice date) 

08/13/2018:  NOA2 hard copy received via USPS

08/22/2018:  NVC received I-129F petition

08/23/2018:  NVC assigned case number

09/03/2018:  Medical exam at SLEC (Day 1)

Hi! We just got married today, and I have a bunch of photocopying to do, but we'll hopefully send the package by the end of this week. Quick question: Do I really need to submit duplicate copies of things for the other applications that require the same? For example, 3 copies of our marriage certificate - one each for the 1-485, the travel doc, AND the advance parole forms? I'm guessing yes...🙄

I didnt send marriage certificate with I-765:) But I duplicated everything for i-485 and i-130, just for my piece of mind.

For the documents they ask for both I-485 and I-765/I-131, I would say yes because the AOS application is eventually transferred to a local office while your application for EAD/AP stay at the NVC. So for the documents that they ask for both applications make sure you put 1 copy with your AOS and 1 with your EAD/AP.

Did your check get cashed yet? We mailed ours priority to the PO Box. By tracking I can see it is ready for pick up. Do you have a way to track yours?

Our check has not been cashed yet.  We were able to track it and it took longer then the 2 days to be delivered.  It was signed and delivered on Nov. 29th.  So hopefully we get our NOA1 soon as we are getting a little worried something might be wrong.

There was a weekend in there so I'm sure it will be very soon. They cash the checks quickly! Keep me posted!

AOS packet sent 11/28, delivered 11/30. also waiting for NOA1s. Best of luck for everyone.  my husband finally got his SSN and our next step is to add him to as many things as I can.  does anyone know what we need to take to the bank to make a joint account?

It depends on the bank. Wells Fargo asked for my foreign passport and SSN. Going in person is the best idea so that's great. They would only sign me up over telephone banking but I needed to go into the bank with my documents to confirm anything.

I already have an account with Chase, so I will go there, i was wondering if they need marriage certificate or i-94? but i guess SSN and passport is enough, do they make you sign anything? i'm wondering if he needs to be with me or can I add him without him being there.
