ENLIGHTEN me pz.  So my husband is a Pilipino US citezen,  in our marriage certificate  his nationality is a Filipino,  and his residence is my place(we both actually didn't notice that we listed his nationality as a Pilipino same as in his residence) .  Question is,  is there will be a problem in our petition?  TIA..

he is a USC. where he was born is irrelevant as long as he can provide his naturalization/citizenship status

 

There are residency requirements for filing a CR1. IF you have been married longer than 2 years and he lives there, DCF is what you want to do.

11/7/2019      Interview- Norfolk

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

10/14/21 Mailed to AZ PO Box. Let the waiting begin. Again.

10/16/21 Received at PO Box

10/19/21 Received Text NOA1

10/23/21 Received Mailed NOA1

He have his naturalization,  and a US passport and id's.  Just getting confuse if do we need to correct our mc tho we already filled?  

 

I mean in his residency in our mc his residence is in my home place.  ..

they do not care what his citizenship was when you married. just what it is now

 

you are overthinking all this

 

file. provide citizenship proof and proof of marriage. thats all.

Are they not gonna questioning us why in our marriage certificate his nationality is Filipino tho he is us citezen?  

 

Yes hehe i really overthinking😊. 

We already file,  just got confused on our mc..

April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

I understood your question.  No, it is NOT a problem.  He....IS....a US Citizen.  He is also a Citizen of the Philippines.  This is a non-issue.

He doesn't have a dual citizenship. He is a Filipino turn to be a usc.
