Don’t worry they are just doing some background checks, I have had that issue and they sent a reply after 6 months, though they will tell you after 60-90 days but it can take longer but not too worry they will send an email about the approval

Well you did a medical examination so if it has not expired by the time they request for the passport they will tell you you have a time frame to travel or you get another one. It’s immediately and they will also tell you you have one year to respond that is sending your passport and valid medical report
