I know Austria isn’t as common as the other countries but if anyone has info on what to expect there with the remaining process I’d be very grateful.

11/26/2018           NOA2 Notice Date

11/27/2018           NOA2 Approval received via USCIS Case Tracker! 

11/30/2018           NOA2 Hardcopy Received in Mail

12/03/2018           NVC Received Case

12/13/2018           NVC Case # Received

12/27/2018           Case received & Intv Given by Guyana Embassy

01/23/2019           Interview Scheduled 

1/29/2019             Entered the US through Miami, FL 

2/26/2019             Married in Miami! 

3/13/2019             Sent in I-485 - AOS. 

5/31/2019             Interview Scheduled 

7/2/2019               Approval notice via USCIS App! 

7/10/2019            GC Received!

07/17/2019   RFE letter received by mail for expedite

07/17/2019   Faxed supporting documents for expedite

08/06/2019   Called USCIS to inquire if fax was received

08/09/2019   Card in Production!

One is supposed to be next week. I’m curious about the second as it would line up with Christmas.

This has been explained through-out the thread. When you log into VJ start reading from where you left off the last time here and chances are you won't miss your questions being answer before you even ask them.

 

Batches are sent to the embassies every other week on T/W. So next week 12/11 and 12 you'll see your file "possibly" in transit. Check ceac.state.gov and use "immigrant" and your NVC case number for results.

And waiting for a interview date in Nigeria can be 60-90 days if not more. Good luck.

But I think one of the questions was that being that batches are sent out every other week, the following batch after the 11th and 12th would fall on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. So in cases like that, would they change the send out date or do they skip the week altogether?

They'll look at a date before or just after Christmas. What do you think?

I just called today and ours was received 12/3 as well by NVC. It’s getting so exciting 😃
