Thank you so much. Getting on it now. Hope to get an RFE at most and not outright denial. Thank you once again

I forgot to include something critical in my AoS paperwork.  I only discovered my stupid error when I was organizing the house and I decided to review it bc it had been 3 months and I was in the “radio silence” stress phase.  I immediately felt sick to my stomach.  I booked an infopass to see if I could submit the missing items that way.  He told me I couldn’t but did tell me to send it to USCIS, with a covering letter (including case no, a-number and other identifying info) explaining what happened and asking to submit what was missing.

In my case, it DID find it’s way to my application.  I didn’t get an RFE or a denial.  Was SO thankful.

Mistakes happen, but do everything you can to correct it.  It’s not hopeless.

Good luck.

I got a hold of the memo and read over it and there is so much in there to explain but it has nothing to do with K-1's. Basically if you are applying for a benefit (visa) and you are not eligible for that benefit or you are not using the benefit for its intended purpose then the adjudicator doesn't have to send you a RFE or a NOID. Just VOID. Done!

But if an application is received with an error or missing documentation and is the intended benefit then the adjudicator is obligated to complete the entire processing up to and not including the approval, but must combine all RFE's for that case into one request. If the adjudicator determines that the application is a "place setter" application, meaning they don't have all their information at the time of filling but hey USCIS will send an RFE and then I can respond with my missing documentation that I now have.  In the past they may send out a RFE letter then two weeks later send another RFE for a totally different circumstance tied to the original submission. The memo requires them to ask for everything in one letter.

So it is my opinion that you will receive only a RFE. But the good news is you have been given by other members in this thread a way to get your missing documents back to USCIS so it can be attached to your case file for final adjudication.

Here is another way that some have used with success.

Use Online Messaging to Correct your I-129F:

You can also use our e-request tool to ask questions about your case, including if your case is outside normal processing times, you didn’t receive your card or notice in the mail, or your card or document has a mistake.

This is a fixable mistake, and you are not the first to leave something out of your application, so time is running and I would start on correcting this as soon as possible.

I’ve had 2 RFE’s during my CR1 process... They didn’t deny my case, so you can make this work too! Again, sending some positive jujus! ☘️☘️
