Around the time our K1 was to be reviewed, we received an RFE.  I sent this back immediately and received a note that they had received it and will continue processing.

It's been around 8 days.  I still have not heard a thing.

Do I keep waiting, or do I submit a case inquiry?  (We are now beyond the posted processing times by a few weeks)

... and yes, to be honest, we are a little impatient to start our lives together.

They key thing here is that you have to wait for them to respond to the RFE

They could take up to 60 days to respond to an RFE. Be patient. :)

Oh dear lord.  This wait is taking a major toll on us.   60 days ????  This isn't going to be good for either of our moods.

I'm f2a, but they took 3 weeks to approve after receiving our RFE

Praying we get lucky.

This distance thing is really taking a significant toll on both of us.  Both mentally and financially.

Thank you for at least a glimpse of potential positive news.

My paperwork is at the California Service Center if that makes a difference.

We were CSC too, took 20 months in total for approval for our f2a category. The distance sucks, but in the end you'll be together and the waiting will have been worth it! Hang in there :)
