Change of status from Immigrant to non immigrant K1 visa CEAC

Thank you guys , this is encouraging , yes that's what i heard , when creation date and it change from immigrant to non immigrant for k1 cases that means it's approaved and it iwll turn issued soon .

When the Embassy is ready to issue a visa, it will change to "Nonimmigrant Visa Application"; at that time, you will know that you are a few days away from getting the visa. It will go from "Immigrant Visa Application" to "Nonimmigrant Visa Application" status and then your visa changes to "Ready" ==> "Administrative Processing" ==>> "Issued" status as well. These steps sometimes transpire over a day or even a few days. Some smaller Embassy's it happens within hours.

 

Sometimes, it might skip "Administrative Processing" and go from "Ready" to "Issued".

Exactly the same thing happened.. they kept my passport.. and give me 221g for further details..!!

Amnazaid when you check your status in CEAC website what you find exactly , take screanshot like mine and show me if oyu want , Greenbaum what you said to me is so encouraging mine is non immigrant now and with new case creation date so i hope i will hear something positive soon , i can't wait for it to turn Issued

Really..!! My status is non-immigrant..!! So it means they are going to approve soon?? InshAllah..!!

When it turns to "non-immigrant" your visa is in it's final stages of production and will change to "issued" when it will be ready for pickup/shipping (this area is embassy specific).

OMG this made me so happy , so i can say my visa is almost approaved , thank you so much for this great information , everything changed in november 14th , so i hope i will hear issued soon :)

Hii everyone !! I went to my cr1 visa interview November the 9 in tunisia the first officier asked about documents everything was ok only the marriage certificate was  old so the first officier who took my documentation ask me to bring new one after that i went back waiting  my interview  after that I heard saying  my number I went to my interview the officier was a woman she  asked me  questions about our relationship and and about my wife job ect........ i answered to all questions after that she gave me a white paper 221g saying to bring the new marriage certificate after 4 days I means November the 13 I went back to the embassy and I gave it to them they give again the 221g I asked  the officier  what means he told me we working on your case. It's "administrative processing "   now it's been 10 days and my visa status "Ready ' I hope everything will be ok ...  Thankyou

Hey bro , i'm tunisian like u , i had my interview for k1 in 8th november and i didn't need any other extra paper they gave me 221g for administrative process too , after 6 days  of being ready in went administrative process until today , we can't do nothing about it , just wait , the women that did ur interview is with black hair and she have slim tiny body ?

Yes 5oya the same woman  .I was waiting for this interview a year and 6 months .and now it's another wait I hope everything will be ok
