Well it’s not funny . And like I said , he submitted all the required documents, guess they needed more evidences or maybe it was misplaced. Thanks

I looked through your past posts to try to get a more well-rounded view of this thread...

In the RFE  letter (you posted the full letter on another thread), it stated that evidence of Intent to Marry was not submitted, the passport-sized photos were not submitted, nor were the circumstances of meeting explained with the original submission.

The good news is that you got a RFE at all, and not an automatic denial.  Good luck moving forward.

@EsLoz like other people said it's a long and frustrating process, and the K-1 is just the beginning. The best way to avoid delays is to know the process and don't precipitate! One thing you have to know is that it rarely goes according to your plans and you will have obstacles on the way 😉 Nobody is trying to be rude but, there's a lot of people that think it's gonna be easy and the VJ members just try to bring them to reality.

If you register an account with USCIS and use the Case Status on their website, you'll be able to see the actions in your case under case history.  Try it out!

You have a decision to make now. Noting will happen to your petition but expire. So what you and your fiancee' need to do is marry and she can then file a I-130 petition. It will take 12 to 15 months.

I was just reading on your AP and your review. I think alot of your denial had to do with your were married to a US citizen before (sorry to hear of her passing) and then you met another US citizen and you got engaged. They may look at you as visa shopping.

Petitions that are returned take about 15 to 18 months to get a review back to petitioner.

Like I said get married file a I-130. Or waste time and wait the next year out. You could be married filed and done before you ever hear from USCIS.

Thanks my brother, they have mailed my fiance already and let her know that they did not approve my k1 visa. Her lawyer has advised her to come down and marry me and file a cr1. So my wife is coming back soon with some of her family and friends for our wedding. In few weeks coming she will be here for our wedding.. Thanks for your advice and contribution
