Proof of domicile

I seriously need your advice

Me and my American wife have been living in Egypt for the last 5 years and have a kid , we had an interview for a IR1 visa last April , they asked for proof of domicile , my wife went back to the US on October , she made a new bank account , car insurance and registration , proof of address.

We sent back the documents to the embassy , the question ; should she come back and wait with me or it's better to wait in the US until the visa is issued , we also have adminstrative process issue.

Because AP is such a grey area, black hole, it could be in AP after they received documents for sometime. days, weeks, months, or even more years.

 

no one would be able to tell you what the best course is for you and your wife.

 

When my husband and I were in waiting for AP to go through we made a plan, set a date that we would go forward and me move there if not processed by a certain time.

 

Thankfully it didn't even take 2 months and AP was processing and he got his visa.
