The DS 5525 is an additional security process as in 2017 there were 11 instances where terrorists groups were arrested (look into the bombing in Marrackeh market place)

The biggest raid took place in Fes and is affecting the young men that interview from that city and most of the northern cities

this action of the additional DS 5535 document needed is asked for at interview and if needed,  it adds a year of investigation to a case

there is even a facebook page of Moroccans discussing this issue/  i joined but then deleted it as they just vent and don't listen to advice

What’s the time frame to get an appointment with the dr? At least 18 days before the interview ? I read some where and can’t find it

When u get the notice of interview and list of drs ,  u can schedule one

i hear it costs $245USD  (about 1245 dh) now for the dr and blood work

the time frame is only important for travel as u must travel to the US within 6 months of the medical exam

best to get one as soon as u can in case there is an issue (like a spot on the lungs which could possibly be treated in time to pass for the interview)
