CNN’s Jim Acosta struggles with White House aide to keep microphone during testy Trump exchange

I guess Democrats are still having trouble with WH interns.  It is interesting how the mainstream media is coming to Acosta's defense even though he clearly assaulted, some may say accosted, a WH intern.

 

CNN’s White House correspondent Jim Acosta was captured struggling with an unidentified White House aide for possession of a microphone while he attempted to ask President Trump questions during Wednesday’s press conference.

Acosta and Trump got into a heated debate after the reporter asked him about the migrant caravan. Trump told Acosta to let him do his job.

“Honestly, I think you should let me run the country and you run CNN,” Trump told Acosta.

The reporter tried to ask him another question before a female White House aide walked over to him.

Trump then told him, “That’s enough!”

 

Acosta continued to try to talk as the aide was seen trying to take the microphone from his hand. She grabbed the microphone but Acosta wouldn't give it up.

That's what it would take to get the point across (to real people, not the media).

 

Am reminded of Gianforte in Montana who pushed or body-slammed the reporter before his initial election as Congressman.  (He was re-elected, incidentally.)

Just incredible. All this must believe the women liberals are know checked out.  Can you imagine the freak show that would have started if Trump had touched a woman in an angry physical way? 

 

Its the hypocrisy more than anything.

Acosta can have all the defenders he can get, the video does not lie, he was in the wrong.  He was given his chance to ask a question (Trump actually called on him), and a follow-up, so where was the limit to his 1st Amendment Rights (Trump actually answered his questions)?  The video clearly shows that the other reporters (also awaiting their 1st Amendment Rights) in the room were raising their hands to move on, but selfish Jim Acosta decided to make it all about himself and made contact with a WH intern.  I am sure Mr. Acosta only has to apologize to get his pass back, if not, CNN can certainly send someone else in there.

You watched the Propaganda doctored footage? It was the intern who instigated contact. The questions Acosta asked weren't bad, it's just Mango didn't want to answer them. It's funny you think Acosta tried to make it about himself when Mango has to make EVERYTHING about him. It's why he lost the House running on a campaign of bigotry and racism with Immigration.

Kudos to Fox News. Poor Mango he doesn't have that many friends.

 

This is significant: following @Acosta losing his press credentials, @FoxNews president has issued this statement: "FOX News supports CNN in its legal effort to regain its White House reporter’s press credential. We intend to file an amicus brief with the U.S. District Court."

But his book "Fear" which talked about the chaos in the White House and how terrible of a job he is doing was all made up according to Trump and his supporters.

I watched the raw video that CNN actually had on their own website.  I suppose it was Monica that instituted everything as well.  There are rules to follow, and the amicus briefs filed by other news organizations really don't go so far as to defend Acosta, but instead are defending the non-weaponization of the WH press pass.  It was Trump's press conference, he makes the rules and there has to be consequences for those that break the rules.  Acosta can run for president in 2020, and if he wins, he can run the press conference. 

 

It is interesting we are back to bigotry and racism, does that mean we can paint all MDL drivers as Open Borders types?  I cannot answer why the media is not talking about the caravan anymore, they aren't talking about Russian collusion anymore either, any ideas why not?
