I kept hearing the news label Nevada as "Red" during the run up, and the Dem Senate candidate was going to turn it purple.  Remind me, didn't Hillary win Nevada in 2016?  Didn't the corrupt Harry Reid represent Nevada for many many years?  Not really sure NV was a GOP stronghold ever.

The good news is there is not a whole lot the can do with a slim majority in congress only. They will spend all their time tilting at windmills and chasing invisible boogeymen,  like they did with Kavanaugh, which hurt them in the midterms.

One wonders, had DiFi not created the Kavanaugh debacle, would the Dems have taken back the Senate as well?  The House will now be the bogeyman for Trump just like Obama did with the House in 2011.  I just hope the Dems get smart and don't vote for Pelosi to be the Speaker.

I heard that.  It made me laugh, I guess she doesn't represent the regular folks of her House District, just those that are qualified.

Sure, the Democrats have never gerrymandered any districts.  I love how the Dems have their victimhood status engrained in their base.

We have been seeing this a lot here in NC with transplants from the NE. They are complaining about how the districts are gerrymandered right now without knowing the full freaking history of how they came to be in the first place. The Dems here in NC gerrymandered the districts for over 100 years and gave us the crappy 12th Congressional District that I grew up in. That district was literally stretching down I-85 from Greensboro to Charlotte in primarily minority districts. 

 

I argue with people about this when they say "We need to have the Dems in charge so that the maps can be drawn to favor us".
