It isn't usually a letter, it is an email.   Check your SPAM filter.    You don't need it for anything .. just need your status on CEAC to show READY for you to proceed with scheduling the interview.

Thanks for answering sir! :)

ive read in some forum that USEM is now requiring that you need to receive your eligibility letter first before you can schedule an interview,  they said that they started to require it just last month. I also called the embassy and they cofirmed that you have to wait for the eligibility letter or instruction letter before you can schedule the interview,  they wont allow you to enter inside the embassy if you dont have the letter.

What the embassy does want is for the case file to be at the embassy before ..  thus checking CEAC for the status to show READY.

The embassy has always stated to wait for the eligibility letter, for many, many years, even back when it was actually mailed and PhilPost never delivered.      Just make sure your status at CEAC shows READY, then it is ROCK n ROLL Time!

Others have reported back in the last couple weeks that the embassy does NOT ask for the eligibility letter for the interview.  If the letter were required it would be listed in the embassy checklist.

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/    STEP 5   <<  you will notice the eligibility letter is not listed.

There is some helpful information for the complete process here:  http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Copy of the eligibility letter/email    http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/embassy-letter.html

Of course how you proceed is totally up to you.  ;)
