What do we do next after getting green card?

Get a SSN if you dont already have one. Get a job and make great memories with your partner in the states. 2 years later down the road (-90 days) get ready to remove the condition on your greencard.

11/06/18 RFE response was received
11/07/18 Courtesy letter for I-693
11/19/18 Case is ready to be scheduled for interveiw
11/20/18 Interview was scheduled

Timeline

Good replies from the others! Also remember to save items over the next 2 years to help establish your relationship when its time to file ROC. Items like pictures, vacations, joint accounts, joint ownership of items.... Ect. Ect... Better to save it throughout that 2 year period than try searching for it at the last minute when its time to file ROC

Completely agree with this.

 

Joint bank account statement -- i only printed the month before I filed. Everything else was pretty much prepped beforehand.

If I remember correctly, I printed out bank statements of Jan and Dec of each year just to show we shared the account for a period of time. But it is good to know for others that just the most recent month is efficient enough.
