Maybe that's the procedure at DR embassy? What other aplicants from DR have to say about it? I know is frustrating, specially when being so close, but be patient. Hope you get your passport soon.

Hopefully tomorrow you will get it.. you are still in the 7-10 days.. remember Monday was a holiday both here in the US and DR.. I was told even though most in DR are open Saturdays they do no consider that a business day.. here in US it is only M-F

I'm not sure but what I have heard from others is once you schedule your interview you can't access your DS-160 and will either need to create a new one or have the CO make the changes. I opt for the CO but that's just my opinion.

In the new revised I-134 form dated 11/30/2018 - Question #38 now regards contributions.  You leave the yes/no boxes "unchecked" and your explanation is submitted in Part 7 on page 8 of the new form.

You will do this:

3.a. "Page 4"

3.b. "Part Number 3"

3.c. "Item Number 38"

3.d. "N/A (K1 Visa Process For Permanent Residence)"

Where can I find the new I-134? I tried USCIS site https://www.uscis.gov/i-134 but there's only the 11/30/16 edition. Thank you!

He said 11/30/18 because it’s the date when the 11/30/16 expires :) If you look at the top right corner of the form, it says it expires on November 30, 2018. They haven’t updated the form yet, but don’t worry, we can still use that one ^^ Am I right, @Greenbaum? I’m assuming that’s what you meant lol

Yes the 11/30/2018 is still the current form to use. I always recommend that you get your forms from the OFFICIAL government website. Getting it from somewhere else can at times give you the wrong form and cause a RFE or 221(g). Government website forms are ALWAYS the most current for that they will accept.

The main thing I wish I'd known before starting, was that it can difficult/problematic for a beneficiary to get a tourist/travel (B-2) visa after the K-1 visa process has started.  If there is any chance the beneficiary would want to visit the US, and they don't currently have a valid visa, it might be a good idea to apply for a B-2 visa before starting the K-1 process.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

BTW not many come through here from your country and I was wondering if you would review the and update the consulate information here on VJ for your country. Last update was 2014. Here is the link. Thanks.
