Good day.

I know that here are the most smart ppl who are very experienced for to give very useful information.

We have administrative processing now.

They asked full marriage extract. I had my interview Sept 24, 2018 and they had extract Sept, 24 , 2018.

But our noa 2 is valid till Dec 2, 2018.

Who knows what need to do if embassy for example issued our case after Dec 2, 2018?

How to go through the border and which is the procedure?

I know our chances for approving are small. But just want to be ready for everything. Thank you .

Did you not present all the divorced papers for petitioner and beneficiary? The NOA-2 will have no influence now, since you already had your interview. If you are under AP (administrative processing) you should have gotten some kinda pink slip i believe and just send all the pertinent documents back to the embassy. They review them and if everything checks out, they will issue you a K-1 visa. That is standard procedure.

I did. and yes it was pink . But embassy needed more information so...

I thought that noa 2 has a  date till when I have to cross the border. No?

Maybe I am wrong but

where is a date till which I have to cross the border? Is it 6 months since case is approved? or..?

I am assuming you did not get your K-1 visa on your passport still. Once the consulate sends you your passport with a K-1 visa, you can see the date it was issued. It is valid from the date it was issued and it will say when it expires also on the Visa.

Sorry for stupid question

Once you have your interview the NOA2 has no factor or influence. Once you receive you passport with the visa, please check the expiry date and that is absolutely the last date you can touch US Soil but plan to arrive prior so there are no problems.

The visa expiry date is usually 6 months from the medical date but I have come across some that are different. Be sure to check the visa and don't assume.

I think you exactly understand what I mean.

When I had interview officer told me that my visa will be till March 14, 2019.

I did not get what does it mean at that time.

I just want to know :

my case is under AP in Kiev embassy.

But I still get letters from USCIS site with such text:

Department of Homeland Security seal

We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time

We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on August 6, 2018.

That is why I thought logically what if there is some deadline about my case?

Its not about visa which I do not have. Its about case. What if case has limits?

As I understand its probably 6 months since it was approved in USCIS?

Thank you for support .😊

Case doesn't expire if you have had your interview. Ceac you status at ceac.state.gov by using your case number. Use "immigrant" as visa type and if that doesn't work then try again with "non-immigrant" status. One or the other will return your current status.
