Health Insurance while waiting on Green Card

If obtaining travel insurance, be 100% certain that it covers entry and stay on a K-1. Many times a travel insurance policy - especially obtained abroad - will not cover this circumstance since one may be considered a resident (but not a permanent resident until AOS is approved).

There are certainly plans that do cover this circumstance. There are also plans that you can buy but won't cover it....in which case the most you would get is your premiums back....and even that is lucky.

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

8/15/2017: POE
