Here is how I see it. If your case gets to USEM in the next 2-4 weeks and you can get an interview setup in the first part of December, there is a possibility but the stars have to be line with the moon and Russia. So if this doesn't work you can blame Russia. Your going to have to have all your documents, checked for errors and able to present at the interview. She is going to need to pass the medical with no TB issues. If not, again blame Russia.

All you can do is hang on tight and count your blessings. My current situation is that I waited 310 days until I finally received any news, a RFE. (December Filer) + there’s actually another person who is still waiting on their NOA2 and they are a November filer. It’s a sad unfortunate reality, everyone’s patience is tested

246 days here. Still waiting, we did get an RFE but still.

There are a couple of things you should be doing and I will list them.

 

1. You email the ombudsman (cisombudsman.publicaffairs@hq.dhs.gov) and they will auto-reply with a link to a form to file a follow-up. The ombudsman is an independent contractor not affiliated with USCIS and when they make an inquiry on your behalf USCIS will respond.

 

2. Send a letter with all the details of your case to your U.S. representative's contact information can be found in this handy directory, and your U.S. senator's information is in this one.

You're going to be fine. Usually after submitting your RFE the adjudicator has pretty much made up their mind that if what you return to answer the RFE meets what they were looking for and completes the application satisfactory then in about 2-3 weeks you should get your NOA2. That's been the experience of others and of course you mileage may vary.

Thanks, the waiting made a mess in our minds and we were wondering "maybe we got the RFE wrong" but we didn't, we sent exactly what they were asking for and I think we have a solid case where we meet all the requirements to get an approval.

So the reason it was delayed is because of they need an RFE. So upset..... The only thing I can think of is due to me checking yes to a criminal history... Dwi in 1991...communication harassment... Ex wife in 1991....both guilty due to lack of money.... 2007 breach of computer security ( not guilty.. Recieved deferred adjudication)... But I did not put an explanation. I think ibjist checked yes. So curious of the real RFE request
