does anyone know how long does it take to schedule interviews in Cairo, Egypt after case complete ?

September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)

November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

there was previous users said it is currently taking from CC to receive interview letter 3 month so i guess August must have it this week if that is right it all depends on the embassy slots still which no one knows , Thank you on your wishes hopefully soon.

08/14/18 - Submitted AOS Application and Documents

08/16/18 - Submitted IV Application and Documents

09/17/18 - Case complete at NVC

11/13/18 - Received interview letter from NVC

12/19/18 - Interview at Embassy in Cairo - Approved!

01/03/19 - GC Fee Paid

02/01/19 - POE!

June 7th, 2018 - Online Case Update - Case Transferred and /New Office Has Jurisdiction

June 8th, 2018 - was told my petition is being sent to The National Benefits Center (NBC)

June 8th, 2018 - Online Case Update - we received your case

June 8th, 2018 - Online Case Update - Case Transferred and New Office Has Jurisdiction

June 14th, 2018- Hard Copy of Transfer Notice (sent 6/6/18)

July 9th, 2018- worked with caseworker at congressional office, made a inquiry

August 3rd, 2018 - caseworker was told by liaison that my case had been transferred to another department for review

August 17th, 2018 - expedite request sent per caseworker, due to USCIS error.

August 27th, 2018 - our petition was yet again sent to the wrong office (Adoption Unit...) another request for expedite was placed by caseworker.

August 30th, 2018 - petition was sent BACK to Nebraska Service Center.  Caseworker spoke with NSC liaison detailing the erroneous transfer that has put your case behind normal processing times, as well as the delays/lack of communication/action at NBC"

September 13th, 2018 - Case was transferred to a new office

September 14th, 2018 - Case transferred and new office has jurisdiction - called and they said it was at Nebraska still...

September 14th, 2018 - Case is APPROVED

September 17th, 2018 - Hard Copy NOA2 Received (PD SAYS 9/13/18)

September 26th, 2018 - Sent to the Department of State (online notification)

October 2nd, 2018 - NVC Received

October 26th, 2018 - Case # Received via email

November 7-9th, 2018 - Submitted DS260 and AOS, Civil Documents, etc. via CEAC

November 14th, 2018 - new police certificate was uploaded

November 27th, 2018 - Case Complete at NVC!

Feb 14, 2019 - Received interview date via email

March 5th, 2019 - scheduled interview date - APPROVED
March 9th, 2019 - Visa in Hand

Still no updates unfortunately CC from 5th September  63 days now and seems it will keep going  @Allison and Ahmed @Sdkmu  @Manda16 surprised see K1 applications supper quicker in getting interview and process and us nothing but all we have is patience.

From some of my friends and VJ-ers it’s been average 4-5 months for a interview for CR1. And yes, for some reason K1 are getting priority over CR1/IR1.

Hey Allison .. 4-5 months to actually go to interview or just to get a date ! Because honest to god this is too much ! 😢

Both! :(  Trust me I know.  I am a year in the process and still waiting for a CC at NVC.  I am right here with you.

I pray that things go faster!  Based of VJ and those reporting their times, I didn't see any October or November CR1/IR1 interviews.  But, I did see some K1's.

 

I am praying you hear something soon!
