N400 Application filed online 6th September, 2022

28th February, 2023 : 48 month extension letter received

13th March: N400 updated to 'Interview was Scheduled'

 follow the instructions when they return it to you. the directions are VERY clear as to where it should be sent. Given this error, I would go over your petition AND the instructions with a fine tooth comb before you resubmit it.

or maybe it will sit there for months until someone actually LOOKS at it and sees what it IS and then sends it back to you.

Did they send the I-129F to Vermont? Or did she send it to the Texas lockbock and then it was transferred to Vermont?

 

Vermont (VSC) only handles I-129Fs when there is an additional  background check of the petitioner required..usually for certain severe crimes.

you will have to wait and see what happens. hope for the best, but more than likely, it will eventually be returned.

 

this is why it is imperative to READ all of the instructions and follow them VERY CLOSELY.

I would just wait.....they will either process it, send it to the correct location, or send the package back to you..........unfortunately, that could take months.

August 7, 2022: Wife filed N-400 Online under 5 year rule.

November 10, 2022: Received "Interview is scheduled" letter.

December 12, 2022:  Received email from Dallas office informing me (spouse) to be there for combo interview.

December 14, 2022: Combo Interview for I-751 and N-400 Conducted.

January 26, 2023: Wife's Oath Ceremony completed at the Plano Event Center, Plano, Texas!!!😁

February 6, 2023: Wife's Passport Application submitted in Dallas, Texas.

March 21, 2023:   Wife's Passport Delivered!!!!

May 15, 2023 (about):  Naturalization Certificate returned from Passport agency!!

 

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Easy way to figure out if things went right or not. On the NOA1 what's the first three letters of the case number? If it is WAC they forwarded it on the the correct place most likely.
