Divorce certificates with judges signature

Hi someone on another thread got an rfe for lack of judges signature on their decree absolute.

we took vj advice and included a post it note saying judges do not sign decrees in the uk which they didn’t when I got divorced.

Is there a process at the county court to get a signed and certified copy and do I need to take anything and is there a fee asociated? Just trying to save time in case we get the same

Never mind found the answer on the court website and sent an enquiry by email just in case 😊

I doubt there is unlikely to be anything somebody has not got an RFE for at sometime or another, we are dealing with the Government.

It happens occasionally when somebody inexperienced gets the case. Many have reported they sent back the RFE explaining and a photocopy highlighting the sentence in the middle about made final, and the tiny footer print at the bottom. They got the RFE dropped without a demand for anything further from the court. If you prempted an RFE by pointing it out in your original submission, I wouldn't worry about it.

I highlighted the sentence in the middle and the tiny decree absolute footer and put a post in note on it saying divorce decrees in England aren’t signed by a judge so hopefully that will be enough.

 

just expecting an rfe as people with dates beyond ours are getting approved.

They do this if u allow them to. If u set ur expectations low its hard to be disappointed.😂🤣😂

We received an RFE for this on October 16th.  On November 5th we sent back two copies of the divorce certificate, one with highlighted portions and another color copy in order to show the red stamp, along with a letter explaining that they don't sign these certificates in the UK.  Awaiting the verdict.
