It was brought to my attention by a member here that they thought I was upset with Randy based on my responses.  I'd like to publicly apologize if my replies came across as snarky in any way.  I am pretty insensitive for the most part, and didn't want to continue arguing a POV that ultimately means little, hence my "you win" comment.

To clarify, I dislike the little boxes that some try to paint us into.  I won't check the box that labels us as caucasian.   I'm not from the caucus regions.  Why do we sometimes see white or black as race options, but never brown?

It's silly to continue to use these labels IMO.  And it will never stop as long as we continue to use them.  We're all part of the human race.  Why do pieces of paper even require us to declare race to get a job or a loan? What does it matter?  Nowadays, I "prefer not to answer" if it is an option, otherwise I leave it blank.

To me, if you are not born in another country, nor are your parents or grandparents, you aren't (any country or continent)-American.

No need to apologize in any way shape or form as far as I am concerned ... our view are slightly different, it's all good
