@Trenz my wait at secondary was not too long - might have been 10 mins at the most . There were only 2 others so it may have helped. Surprisingly  security/ US customs was sparse considering it was Saturday around 9am .   Going to US customs, normally you 1st have to visit a machine where you would scan your passport/GC or such but since I had no GC , I just told and showed the person that I had a stamp and was directed to  a line that was basically next to the other line ( I am not sure what that line was for).  When the officer was telling me that I had to go to secondary , I said I did not have any of my documents as that would be a huge folder and he said no worries, all they are going to do is validating my status as all my information is in the system ! ( we hope!! :-) )

Just head to the airport with enough time just in case. I know it is not fun to wait around but if you are going through terminal 1, it has been renovated so there are nicer seating areas; places to plug in/recharge your devices; if you have no devices there are ipads to use.

@mrs thb Yes strange to feed the humidity again after  CA/ RENO weather, eh?   Flew to Buffalo - that is with  Southwest? I would love to find a better way to get home . Always having to do a connection which bothers the heck out of me.

Hopefully we will get our 10yr GC by Christmas.

Thanks for the info!

Pearson is a connecting airport for me, but I figure with just over 2.5 hours to spare on my layover I should be fine! If it is the same secondary area that I had for my original K1 crossing, I am somewhat familiar with where it is! Glad to hear it did not take long and it was just a matter of them verifying your status. I will be sure to go with that in mind.

Best of luck to you and everyone else still waiting!

We have never gotten any tracking number from USCIS.

After approval email another one was received, the next day, which stated our green cards were picked up by Post Office and  tracking numbers CAN NOT be provided.

But I got emails from USPS t- I have an account and it's set up to notify me of any priority mails, coming to our address. I checked tracking numbers USPS provided us with - two mails, sent from the same place at the same time -  and realized our green cards on the way.
