In regard to the one policy issue on which Beto actually expressed his beliefs during the most recent debate, Cruz wiped the floor with him in just 90 seconds.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

But the MSM is telling you that Cruz has no chance of winning.  You should listen to them.

I don't know, I believe he has a fairly good chance at betting 'lyin' Ted. The polls I suspect don't adequately gauge Beto's chances, probably underestimate the level of voter unhappiness with Lyin' Ted and the GOP white House.

Are you taking bets?

I have not heard anything about people being unhappy with Ted or the GOP Whitehouse in Texas, and with the economy so robust I just don't see a Democrat winning in Texas.

Trump didn't win, Hillary lost. It was a two horse race with so many people staying away from the polls.

I am out of country but from reading some of my forums I follow, they are saying there are very long lines and waiting around 30 to 45 minutes to early vote.

My personal opinion is that many republicans are coming out of the woodwork to vote and show support for Trump and the backlash over Kavanaugh and the circus that was put on and the way he was treated in public.

Trump had a rally in Houston this week, I heard he was on fire and he had Ted Cruz there as well.

Apparently there were folks waiting in line for hours to get into the rally and over 100K had RSVP'd for an arena that only seats about 17k.

I find it hysterical how Ted Cruz is using Trump's endorsement, considering how he said called Trump a 'pathological liar' during the presidential primaries.

Cruz would say anything to get reelected, and apparently doesn't care past Trump insults either.

Sounds more like a cult meeting, than a political rally.

I do hope Trump remembered not to call Cruz 'lyin Ted', or things might get a little weird.

You mean like when Obama said Hillary was unfit to serve as president?  You must be new to this country, if you don’t know that’s how politics play out on a daily basis.

Quote

The battle for the Democratic nomination became increasingly bitter last night as frontrunners Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama engaged in the most vicious exchanges yet seen in a televised debate.

The two traded personal attacks after a brief discussion of US economic woes. Obama said he had been working in the slums of Chicago while Clinton "was a corporate lawyer sitting on the board of WalMart". Clinton retaliated that Obama had represented a slum landlord.

Obama repeatedly claimed he had been a victim of a campaign of dishonest tactics by the Clinton campaign over the past month. The audience booed Clinton when she said Obama never gave a straight answer.

Earlier Obama had gambled on a full-frontal challenge to the Democratic icon Bill Clinton, who has made a series of personal attacks on Obama on the campaign trail since December. Obama retaliated before the debate, describing the former president's behaviour as "troubling" and accusing him of distorting facts.
