That's what my accountant said to do. She said having the same address does not mean the same household for tax purposes. The contract to sponsor immediate relatives prohibits them to be on anything that is public charge. That means Medicare/Medicaid, food stamp, stuff like that. I do not believe having a subsidy on OBC is not a public charge, YET. The Trump Administration certainly wants to make it to be, but as far as I know it has not happened yet.
