Ok, thanks. I will call the probate judge office and find out.  One last question.  When we go to get her SSN it says we need another form of valid ID (as defined in the SS-5 instructions) besides her passport with the visa in it.  The SS-5 Instructions says this, "If you are not a U.S. Citizen, we must see your current U.S. immigration documents(s) and your foreign passport with biographical information or photograph". What immigration documents are they talking about?  She doesn't have any as they took the immigration K1 Visa packet in the JFK airport when she came through?

You beat me to the punch again Hank! OP--as mentioned earlier here, sometimes the SSA staff do not understand the process. Do ask to see a supervisor if the person you are speaking to does not provide the SSN when you give proper paperwork. For what it is worth, Joan got hers in her maiden name (we married late in the 90 days so my sister could be here) and then had her name changed/new card after she got her green card. Same number, so no big deal. Good luck.

So now that my fiancee and me have our wedding license, the next step is for us to get married and then go get her SSN and so forth.  When does my fiancee need to finish up her vaccinations here?

Did SLEC indicate your fiancee needs to complete further vaccinations?  If not don't worry about it.

My wife’s POE was Boston, MA on 9/22/16. Her flight came in about 10 pm. The very next morning we were at the SS office in Portland, ME applying for SS card. I remember researching it at the time and as I understand her info was entered in their database at POE and there is no waiting period, which was the case at least for her as she did not have to wait. She then received the card a few weeks later and we went back and changed the name on it after getting green card & marriage, easy peasy.

Can't work until you have your green card OR the EAD card (I-765).    EAD can be filed (FREE) with the I-485 (AOS) green card.  EAD takes 2-4 months once filed.  Green card is taking 6-12 months.

How long has the advanced parole been taking?  My fiancee' wants to go back and visit her family as soon as possible.  She has been here 1 month already, but we don't get married until the 10th of Nov.  Also, for the advanced parole it is good for several trips right while we await for the greencard?

AP card is usually 2-4 months, same as the EAD   In fact if you apply for both  USCIS issues a COMBO card with both on it.

I never heard of a limitation for the number of entries back into the USA.     The Advance Parole card is considered an Emergency Travel document, not a "travel card" ... it does not guarantee entry.

The I-94 and visa are the documents.
