I hear ya. We need to book a whole lot of things, and sell a house on top of it.  Life remains on hold still. Although I imagine it will speed up incredibly when the email comes.

I just hope the consulate picks up the pace! My fear is the American Thanksgiving coming up in 5-6 weeks, not sure how long the consulate takes to celebrate that. Then of course Christmas and New Years probably don’t speed things up either.

i feel you there, and if you have to travel to Montreal during the holidays the prices go up up and away too!

our CC date is August 2nd. I called NVC today and no update there either.

Anyone wanna come over for a beer a vent about this process? 😂🍺

Anyone in GTA area hmu. We  really need to form a support group. If there could be say, 50 of us, sending a signed letter and send a copy each to all our (U.S.C)'s senators, perhaps they can look in to why Montreal is being so slow. Just an idea.

If I was a little closer Darth I’d do it, but I’m stuck in Sarnia(hyu)

Ive thought about having my wife send a letter to her senator, if next week comes and goes I think ill maybe go through with having her write a letter.

anyways, hopefully everyone on here keeps posting updates as we get them, we ultimately all benefit from it. And we are all we have for legit information(vs NVC) along this journey.

Yo Hill, thanks for jumping in. So far between July 27th and my date of August 6th we’ve seen nothing. A few of us were wondering if there was any activity between those dates!?! I know there was a time  when the CEAC website was down and thought maybe there was a period at the end of July/early August, where people didn’t get a response of any sorts.

anyways, keep us posted as well. As I’ve stated before, aside from this website there seems to be little to no information available to us. We are essentially all we have to figure out how things are moving along. With that said, anything you can add helps everyone. Thanks again and hopefully this week brings good news for you and all!

Where’s everyone from anyways? I’m just curious how far across our country this process hits.

Im in Sarnia...border town with Michigan.

Again, I’m just curious. Feel like we should get to know each other if we are in this boat for the long haul!

I'm in Alberta - small town called Rocky Mountain House.

CC date August 9th - no appointment yet.  I called the visa centre phone line on Friday and they told me that they are still scheduling interviews for November in Montreal, so fingers crossed.

They schedule interviews until around the middle of the month, and then they receive an email notice saying all dates are done for the month.  In September, they finished scheduling the October interviews around Sept 19th.
