I can't say for sure what the individual wait times are for any given Embassy. But if you go over to this thread and ask your question, I guarantee you will get and answer and if you hang out long enough you'll learn many more tidbits about SA Embassy.

Do you have any links for the forums regarding Aruban applicants and/or the consulate in Curcao?

I don't have anything for Aruba/Curacao. I recommend contacting the U.S. Consulate General Curacao if your special circumstances justify submitting your application there, you can send an e-mail to NIVCuracao@state.gov describing the visa type and asking them to forward you interview preparation documents commonly referred to as a Packet 3 letter.  BTW, if you get the P3 letter would you share a copy with me so I can have it to help others who will come behind you? Thanks

There is a service provided by the USPS (US Postal Service) whereby each morning USPS will scan your incoming mail (just the address side of the envelope) and email you an update. It's very convenient these days to have advance notice that an important piece of mail is being delivered.

The service is available to most communities but some are still being rolling out so not all areas are available. Check the website with your zip code to verify your location is available for the service. A person in the USA can sign up for this free service here: https://informeddelivery.usps.com/box/pages/intro/start.action

Hi Everyone!

My fiance send the I-129f last Oct 17 and it was delivered in Dallas PO Box last Oct 19. From what I have read online, it takes 6 months to a year to get approve. Good luck to all of us

My fiancee's and I's K-1 application has been received by USCIS and currently in process. Is it "okay" for me (the beneficiary) to visit the US for Christmas?

By "okay", I mean am I likely to have any issues due to having a visa application against my name. Or is Christmas still early for such things to happen?

Original plan was for her to come to the UK for Christmas, but looks like I'll be going to the US after all.

Thanks in advance :)

You'll be fine; see

You (presumably) have ESTA and don't need to get a visa, so won't have any problems.
