Hi. My fiance and I had our embassy interview on September 14th and we were approved. How long is the embassy typically taking to return passports to the individual? They told us 10 days and it is now passed 10 days. I’m driving myself nuts just waiting for the email that the passport is ready and none of the help numbers provide any assistance. Thanks!

Depends on the Embassy. Have you checked the Consulate Review for your Embassy here on VJ. Select your flag and you'll be taken there. Also how about the sub forums for your country or region. There are lots of tools on VJ that will help answer that question and others.

Hello Octobrosss!!!

I thought I'd start the new October 2018 129f  thread.

Best of luck to all new filers :) Currently it takes at least 6 months to receive the NOA2 for I-129F.

One of the useful tools that the US petitioner should sign up for is the USPS Informed Delivery: https://informeddelivery.usps.com/box/pages/intro/start.action

Update your VJ timeline so that others could answer your queries more appropriately.

New site:https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

Once you have your WAC you can create an account in the webpage!

Good luck and welcome to your new virtual Family!

Feel free to ask !

The i129f package was delivered yesterday. I am so exited as if  we have already got approve 😊😀. October fillers ❤❤

Just filed and received my NOA1 two days ago. Here’s to the waiting journey! :) I’ve heard that it currently takes about 6 months?

Closer to 7 to 7.5 months but it comes in ebbs and flows.
