So I went on the MVC website and updated my email address was I suppose to receive an email from them letting me know they received my request? If so is it immediately generated or will it arrive in time....

I answered that question on tab 6. Can I suggest that you keep track where you are in the reading of threads and then you can start where you left off and read the threads for informative answesr to questions that the group posts. Sometimes, you got's to do some of the heavy lifting.

You will also find guides here on VJ. Just go up to the Blue Ribbon at the top of the page and select guides. Then scroll down until you find the i-134 guide. That should help you out.

Yes that's where you will find your case status. Be sure you use "immigant" as your visa type.

No USCIS case number does not work. You have to use the NVC issued case number to retrieve information specifically to your case status.

Some updates who were approved OCT 3 or thereabouts. I start work early, and figured to call NVC (early, i know).

No updates yet, trying to save time for everyone else, wait another week.

I'll try to call on friday again, it'll be just over 2 week since NOA2.
