Am I the only one that just used paperclips?

I used paper clip and binder clips to hold mine
Got my case ready for interview- i.e. no RFEs.

it's fine

As long as things are put together somehow for them NOT to lose it, it's good.

They can do their administering filing however they want

hey guys quick question. does the NVC has to anything with the AOS filing?

cz they have my wrong Birth date in their database and we didn't fix it so i am wondering if our files from now on (AOS,ROC...) will go to NVC for processing or is it just USCIS who deals with those.

So for sure NVC has nothing to do with AOS

It's all NBC/local office

Am not sure for ROC since we're not there yet. Perhaps @Roel can let you know if NVC plays a role at ROC

Okay friends! 141 pages in total and I dont feel like Googleling or researching for one more second at this point.

One final AOS question....

I have assembled everything into the three seperate packets (I485, I765, I131). I plan on placing them in 3 seperate 10×13 envelopes (florescent ones if I can find some!)

My question is this though:

I plan on sending the three envelopes all together in one USPS envelope (or bag that they offer for shipping).

1. Do I have to address EACH ONE of my packages in envelopes to the Chicago Lockbox (and self return address it to in the top left corner) PLUS label it with:

ORIGINAL SUBMISSION - FORM I-XXX- Name of Form

My Name and Alien Number

???

OR

2. Can I just mark each envelope as:

ORIGINAL SUBMISSION - FORM I-XXX- Name of Form

My Name and Alien Number

AND just label the USPS OUTER Envelope with:

USCIS

PO Box Yadda yadda

Chicago, IL

Yadda yadda

ORIGINAL SUBMISSION - FORM I-XXX- Name of Form

My Name and Alien Number

Do I need the addresses on the inner envelopes?

Thoughts on why 2. might be a bad idea....

Yaz’s AOS was approved on 16th August 2018. She has a few other pages about her AOS journey, but in this one is explained how she put it all together ☺️https://yaztalksalot.wordpress.com/2017/09/28/adjustment-of-status-from-k1-visa/#more-1208

I will be using it as a guide for my AOS next month.

Does not go much into addressing my very specific question about addressing the envelopes and what way you would do it but thanks! I'll wait for an opinion on my situation, lol.

Just a little update, NOA1 arrived last Friday, with received date of 2nd October and NOA1 date of 9th October. I just received my Bio Appointment letter today, appointment is on the 1st Nov at 8am!

Hopefully it's not too long of a wait after that...

I said no because I already went to the office to get the number. And I went there September 14th and I sent the paper September 29th. So I thought I’d get it sooner but till today I don’t have it.
