We have emailed and called embassy yet no answer.

How did you get in touch with them?

Also after reaffirmed case sent to embassy here in Ghana, did you update your Ds260 before consulate contacted you?

Oh no, i am yet to receive an interview date. I used the public inquiry form in the mail NVC sent me. nvc.state.gov/ask

For reaffirmed cases the consulate does little concerning an interview. You have to schedule it yourself but before that u must update your ds 260 and submit. If u want contact the Embassy for more info via phone these are the numbers.

My wife in USA said NVC told her this.

Everything I read and I spoke to NVC on that form prior they say you wouldn't fill out that form UNTIL a visa number is available for you and we then receive that letter from Ghana for 2nd interview and instructions to fill out and file the DS form.

Is this true?

Wondering how come since May 03 2018 our sent reaffirmed case to embassy at Accra has not yet contacted us.

How come you update ds260 when you have no word from embassy or Consulate?

Have tried calling those numbers and always answering machine and no human response

When u sign to ur IV visa if it says reopened it means u have to update. the Embassy will not typically tell u to update but u must do it prior ur 2nd interview. And the Embassy will not give u date. U have schedule interview urself at

Thanks sis..

So means we should just go update ds260 and consulate will get in touch with us or what?

Because remember yes I know we do interview schedule date ourselves but we need a notice before that because we just can't wake up and do so.

once you update your ds260 the confirmation page will tell you that your information has been sent straight to the embassy you wont understand this until you do it and get the notice. Please take your time and fill out ds260 if you make mistake you cant change it Once you submit it no changes. please print out your confirmation and also save it on your computer so you can have record you need to take print out to interview with you.

you have waited enough can you get your congress person to do inquiry for you the embassy might not answer you but through my experience through out this hell journey they HAVE TO respond to congress office. what they responds may be might not be  what you want to here but at least the embassy will have to look at your case in order to reply to congress person this is my advise hope it help you
