Hey! So to answer the first question, yes, I do live with my husband in Morocco. It's been close to 3 years now. 😊

I file taxes every year, although I wasn't required to file for one of the years. I attached a letter explaining I didn't meet the requirements and gave that to NVC along with a copy of my tax transcripts (via IRS website) for the previous 3 tax years.

I still have a US bank account along with my voter registration card that I maintain. I also have a mailing address in the US, I used this for the 'proof of domicile' for NVC. You can also provide moving estimates as well.

We got a Case Complete from NVC August 17th. The problem is because of Eid along with upcoming Moroccan & US holidays I'm not sure if we'll have an interview scheduled anytime soon.

I hope that answers your questions!

the questions were just for u but they help

At this point September, of course, is full / was full long ago as posted by  a member

am hearing now October is full and you are looking at late this year / and again there are holiddays of Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year for the US embassy

whatever, when directed, get that medical exam done and keep the interview date they schedule to prevent an interview next year

good luck

We just received interview date today for our CR1 visa, any advise of what we should do to prepare for interview, we are trying to be prepared this time since our K1 visa was denied last year ?

K1 usually denied in Morocco

just go into interview with confidence

dress for success

do the interview in English

be prepared to know what u plan for future in USA   (will u work or study)

know everything little and big thing about spouse (where they live,  family, weather here, schooling of USC,  etc)

when asked a question,  ask simply / do not go into deep detail as they think u are making things up

allah yessir

you will succeed

does anyone have any information about the female doctor, Dr. Nezha?  I am planning for my wife to schedule an appointment with her.  Is she fast in sending the paperwork to the embassy?  I heard the price is 2500 dh

I heard she is the best one, I`m thinking about sending my wife to her instead of the one in Rabat. Doctor will give your wife a sealed envelope at the end of her visit to take with her to the interview.

Are you talking about the $220 USCIS immigration fee? That comes after you’re approved. You get a paper with your alien registration number and then pay it online.

The $535 should’ve been paid when you first submitted your I-130. Unless there’s another fee I’m not aware of for CR1s /:

Met: 10/15/2015

Married: 04/30/2017

I-130 Sent: 10/13/2017

NOA1: 10/18/2017

NOA2: 06/02/2018

NVC: 07/06/2018

NVC CC: 08/17/2018

Normally when you go to Casa for interview you have to pay a fee that`s what I`m talking about, maybe CR-1 is different.

Everything will go well this time.

We were also denied a k1 last year because the consular office didn't believe our relationship was bonafide.

Then we went through the CR1 route and was approved last week tuesday. By God's grace,i will be leaving for the US in a few days and like others have rightly said, she should confidently answer all questions correctly, maintain good eye contact, smile, dress well and leave the rest to God.

Best of luck on the final lapse of this long and tough journey.
