Having just received my notification that they are ready too schedule my interview since May 31st 2018,I will be flying home in December and now I’m panicked that they’ll schedule aforementioned interview whilst I’m away,is it possible to change interview dates if need arises

How long do you plan on being away??

The interview notice is sent out 4-6 weeks before the interview date, so even if you are away, you could just cut the trip short and immediately come back.

The AoS interview can only be rescheduled due to emergency, I think. And even if they do, it can take them months again to let you know when the new date and time are.

We will be in UK for 2 weeks just before Christmas, maybe we will not need to worry as I guess USCIS closes for the Christmas period 😶🤔

Oh if it's just 2 weeks, you guys are fine. And yes they are closed during then.

I'm worried about this too!! We have been "ready to be scheduled" since May 21st and we are going to my husband's home for Christmas/New Years. We will be gone a month. I already know they are going to schedule it during that time we are gone....
