Hi @Naes, our time lines are still running parallel it seems! (we filed on Sep 15 /2017) how are you doing? how is married life? I guess your cats are happy to have you there full time! my dogs came over on the same flight as me at the end of July, despite my concerns they flew pretty well.  we were married just a head of you on the 14th but I see you are just a head of us with the AOS and EOD etc, so a quick question, how many photos did you enclose with the package? we can't decide if they just want 2 or 2 for the AOS and 2 for the EOD? any advise would be appreciated, Thanks.

As others have commented it is good to see familiar names on the forum and I hope everyone is making progress with the next stage of their lives.

Well together again :D I was so worried for the cats but they handled it well too. (wouldn't do it again for fun tho! but it was way better than I expected)

Congrats on the wedding!

2 pictures each (I put 6 in total)

Hey!! Cats are awesome although the boy is not speaking to me much.... Like he sits with his back turned on purpose and goes crazy when my husband is home... But also gets jealous if my husband shows me attention... so I'm screwed on that one. I'm giving snacks to avoid jealousy!

It is nice to know you have a good environment for your kitty to be out! It is definitely relaxing for them (as long as they know how to come back....)

Ohhhh your boy's funny. :) Maybe treats and toys will lure him back to you. :D

We have a doggie door and my cat georgie learned how to use it from my husband's cat. Now he meows whenever it's closed and he wants out. I'm glad he knows how to go home now. The first few times he learned of the outside world, he didn't come back until we looked for him. I had to climb the fence, to our neighbor's yard, just so i can chase him and bring him home. It was pretty much embarrassing and funny at the same time. Cats are weird and funny. They just keep me entertained. :D

AOS accepted as of 9/5/2018. To anyone who has applied this year, whats the time frame for work authorization, Advance parole and AOS approval?

Yes, we waited too long too!

ugh that’s unfortunate with the check! Do you know when your package was delivered there? I guess USCIS has a full load of petitions from people trying to send it before the 11th!

It got there on 31st. from what I see it seems like people from 27th and 28th is just getting their noa1 text/emails.. so I really really hope for a September 7 at least.. But even if the text comes later you know the file can be in the system before that so fingers crossed.

I'm doing well, definitely love the life here. sitting around with cats mostly and waiting for hubby to come back hehe, but we moved to a beach apartment so it takes less than a minute to be by the ocean which was the smartest thing we did apparently otherwise I would be stuck in the house :D

Started to research on job certifications and linguistic certifications etc already! I need a goal hehe but for now just furnishing the apartment and eating popcorn..

how are you doing? did it get boring yet?

Oh wow, living at the beach sounds amazing!!

Well I'm kinda in the middle of nowhere (we live at some kind of farm pretty far away from downtown), but there's also my wife's sister and her kids (fortunately we live in  adifferent building haha), and another lady renting a cabin, so I can't get too bored xD we also have woods at our homestead, there's a bunch of dogs, two cats, three horses, two goats.. xD

I also just took an English test at our community college, and was offered to take Adult Basic Education - English and math and maybe something else, not really sure. So that sounds nice for keeping myself occupied :)

There are some that doesn't show up in VJ (Mine also doesn't show up so I put closest to it and then put my real one in the comments) don't know the reason but can be because they opened later than the version updated on vj. or there just weren't enough applicants from the area etc.

By the way may I ask what does your status say on your cases? Do all of them have Sept 4 as they received date?
