Filling out the I-751 form and noticed that the instructions now state that there must be no blank spaces.  Had a couple of specific questions.

1)  Does it literally mean that there can be no blank spaces on the form at all?  I understand that typically each Parts main/first question must have an N/A or 'None'.

But does that mean I have to fill in 'N/A' or none in all corresponding questions in the respective section?  (i.e.:  Child 1 Family Name: 'N/A'.  Given Name: 'N/A'.  Middle Name: 'N/A'.  Date of Birth: 'N/A'.  Street Number and Name: 'N/A'.  City or Town: 'N/A', etc.

Seems like it would be a complete mess with 'N/A's all over the place.

2)  In Part 11. Additional Information, even if I don't have any additional information to provide, do I still have to enter my Family Name and Given Name?  Or can I just write 'N/A' under my Family Name.

I know people have been asked this question a couple of times in the past but I seem to find different answers. I will gladly appreciate if you share what you put in yours.

It’s always debatable on how one puts N/A everywhere or on main lines only. In my other immigration forms what i did was put N/A on the first one and left its subcategories blank. Like Child 1 Family Name: 'N/A' and then blanks in subsections. Similary N/A on Child 2 Name and then blanks.

I didn’t put anything on part 11, not even N/A.

I did similar to arken.

I did put N/A for a lot of them, but for things like information about a lawyer you used to prepare for the application (if used), I think I just put N/A for the first one, since it was obvious that the additional lines would be unneeded. This was for the I-129F, but I think the same worry applied.

They seemed to be fine with it, no RFE (on that form) relating to columns that didn't have an N/A. In the end it's a bit of a judgement call, but they really just want to make sure all the information that needs to be filled out is filled out, so they don't have to RFE/deny.

I think you can never put N/A too much, just make sure you don't check a box when you didn't intend to.

Hi there, in reading al the questions on leaving fields blank or typing “N/A” on filing form I-751.

Is there anyone that has filed in 2019, and left the fields blank.  As my spouse and I have no children and my Spouse with GC does not have a middle name.

We welcome any true direction.
