Hello August Filers!

 

I just wanted to drop in to wish you all the best of luck on your journeys. We filed our petition in February and just received our NOA2 approval notice today.

 

The road ahead may look overwhelming and daunting, but it does have a wonderful ending waiting for you. You just need patience and perseverance. Trust the system and don’t unnecessarily worry or stress.  Stay as closely connected to your loved one as you can. If you can visit, visit! If you can’t, then do the best you can: Talk, Skype, email, write actual pen-to-paper letters and cards to each other, send flowers...you get the idea.

 

It’s all so incredibly worth it!

Glad this one is up, I couldn't find it!

I've finally completed and submitted the I-129. Whew. Sent it on August 10th with FedEx for a 2-day delivery, USCIS got it on August 14th.

Friday, August 17th I got both text message and email saying they got my package but to wait until I get the mail (Form I-797 ) 7-10 days.
I checked the info with the Receipt # on the website, if it's not delivered by 9/13, I must call to follow up.

@WaterLeaf Don't worry, you almost always get the hard copy NOA 1 by then, as long as you received confirmation that it's delivered, you're good.
