Hello. I have a manual Pakistan Passport expired as of 2015. Is it possible to get a new MRP Pakistan Passport in USA with a valid state driver license and valid Smart NICOP only?

What did the Consulate say?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I have not talked to them yet but the website shows other requirements like U.S Citizen, PR Card, Work Authorization.

Manual were the old kind. The one before MRP started. Renewal can be done online but not new MRP’s.

Do you think the consulate will let me bring my own passport size picture (online file and/or photo paper) instead of the one taken on the spot there?

I did. They said no. Only on the spot.

I wonder if I mail it to Islamabad directly with my picture that I take.

Consulate in Islamabad you mean? If that is true than it won't be economically worth it with plane ticket, etc just for a picture when I can drive 30 minutes to a consulate here where I reside in USA.

So why don't you just go to your local consulate and see what they say?  Call them beforehand.

I got my new Pakistan Passport application sent today to Pakistan from my jurisdiction local office. I did the 10 years validity. I could have done 5 years but we know that to apply for USC takes about a year or two after the 4 years and 9 months wait to apply to get approved so the 5 years PP would have expired.

I was told that it will arrive in 5-6 weeks since I did the ordinary normal processing.

Has anyone gotten it quicker for those that reside on USA?
